Wool Creatures: Pygmy Owl

NEEDLE FELTING INITIATION

For awhile, I was itching for a new artistic outlet - something tactile and amusing. After a visit in August 2010 with my friend, Steph, my itchiness was soothed. Steph introduced me to a craft that I never heard of - needle felting! She showed me her palm-sized, fuzzy and funny owl and fish. I thought they were the cutest things and wanted to know how she created them.

After her quick demonstration, I was instantly hooked, and within the hour, I had my own needle felting supplies. This blog tracks the progress of my needle felted animals and objects - my "wool creatures!"
